Welcome to AYR Brushed - from the seaside town of Ayr on the West Coast of Scotland.
I am a furniture artist and hand paint - upcycle - old tired furniture to give it an artistic and modern makeover. I’ve been painting since the 1980’s, It’s a passion, It's very addictive and I love my creative work.
I like to add a twist to a painted piece by using different fabrics, patterned paper or a hand painted scene, giving it a warmth and character, or by trying out a new painting technique. I’ve recently painted and sold some acrylic and oil canvases and will be putting more emphasis on my artwork.
I hope some of my projects will be inspirational.
